February is the month of love and heart health. It is a great time to begin to make healthy desserts and snacks if you aren't already. Try to stay away from white flour, white sugar, and prepared processed foods. Over the years, I've created many healthy snacks and desserts, many of which I sell locally in Santa Barbara.
This month, I encourage you to involve your kids, spouse, and/or a friend in making a new healthy dessert or snack. It's possible to spend less than an hour in the kitchen and end up with a healthy dessert or snack. I'd love to hear what you make.
