Time to start planning healthy back-to-school lunches
Where did this summer go? I know many parents are spending their last days of summer organizing and getting ready for their kids to go back to school. It’s time to think about new and creative school lunches. What new recipes can you start making?
One of my favorite lunch ideas is a low carb sandwich roll-up. It can be vegetarian or not. You can roll it in a big lettuce leaf, coconut wrap, or tortilla. Some ingredients could be sliced turkey, cheese, humus or tzatziki sauce, grated carrots, red bell pepper, sprouts, or (insert your idea here!) This summer I started putting mild chili powder on my watermelon and cantaloupe. What are some of your new recipes?
